What A Few Years Will Do...

When the fam moved on from our childhood 4740 home it had some charming characteristics: a lovely gazebo and indoor jacuzzi.

In order to sell the house in the declining economy (who knew it could go this far!) my parents were advised to tear down all wall paper and turn the jacuzzi room into a sunroom.







Now a few years later we can see there is, in fact, a jacuzzi! Except this one's an outdoor one and therefore not as cool. They have torn down the gazebo attached to the deck and have made a pathway connecting the patio, jacuzzi, and driveway together.

I am sure the teenage kids who (presumably) live there must love the pathway as an easy, clean escape route for their friends during the crazy backyard jacuzzi parties. No one likes to run through cold, wet grass at midnight when the parents came home early. And it also saves you from the awkward question of, "If you didn't have a party, why are there muddy footprint marks all over the driveway?"

Kids these days have it so easy...
