Tate Time

Apparently I brought the rain to London because it was sunny and 75 when I landed on Wednesday and was drizzling and 60 on Thursday.

A rainy day always means a museum day.

So I went to the Tate. I've been to the Tate Modern before- and hated it. I found it disturbing. There was a lot of modern statue art that cuts apart the human body and consequently makes my stomach really queasy. Just add this as another reason why I'm not a doctor.

But the Tate is really cool. There are lot of cool paintings of royalty (and I'm obsessed with English Royalty- esp. Harry- yummy) as well as other random, pretty paintings.

And, there is a modern section as well:

Nope- not a picture- that's a painting.

Isn't that cool?

Of course I spent about five minutes dissecting this painting:

The fierce blue dress was the initial sight that caught my eye, but I hovered over this picture for way too long because of the title "April Love."

It really should be called "May Love"- and I will get to that later...
